This 6 week program includes 18 hours of training and activities to open all the senses. Learn these effective methods, that will help you reduce pain, stress, and ultimately create a Healing Warrior Energy. This training is ideal for nurses, yoga teachers, yoga practitioners, personal fitness trainers, teachers, doctors, home health care providers.
Studies show that people looking to improve their fitness and improve their health achieve significantly greater results when using a trainer. An effective personal trainer can guide you, motivate you, and educate you. Trainers provide accountability and discipline. A good trainer will also make sure that you don't damage your body when exercising. It is important to note that there is a right way and a wrong way to exercise. Don't risk harming your body. We all have different body types and mechanics. Learn how to exercise within your own limitations. Learn how to focus on your strengths. Learn how to make a life long commitment today.
Judy's classes are not your typical group exercise session at your local gym. Her expertise and passion in all areas of fitness roll over into each class. Judy regularly uses different props and does different exercises, poses and breathing techniques to insure your mind and body will never plateau.
Each session includes the following:
An interview with the client guides the practitioner with this Japanese form of deep relaxation, performed by using light touch and beaming Reiki techniques, while lying on a massage table fully clothed. It is a healing and guiding energy. Reiki will help you develop and express love, compassion, wisdom, justice, cooperation, humility, courage, strength, kindness, abundance, and much more.
Mindfullness: the psychological state of bringing ones attention to the present moment. Learn how with Judy's meditations:
Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep). This guided ancient form of meditation will take you into a deep level of relaxation while remaining fully aware. Deep emotional and physical healing, a rewiring of your brain and self exploration happen when you plant the seed of change with a Sankalpa (resolve), which comes from deep within, directly out of who you ultimately are. Find direction, improve your learning skills, lower blood pressure, help depression.
Breathing Techniques: Learn the exercise of breathing with Judy's guidance. Whether it be paying attention to the movement of the belly, Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), Bhramari (bee breath), or a number of Judy's guided meditation/breathing exercises, you will learn to calm the mind and body.
Kosha Mapping: Kosha's the five layers of energy in the body (physical, energetic, psycho emotional, wisdom, bliss) form a map for navigating the inner journey. Take your Yoga practice to the next level with this guided meditation where you draw a colorful map to find your new course which lies deep inside, waiting to be discovered .
This class consists of 30 minutes of Pilates and 45 minutes of Yoga. Pilates is a system of floor exercises focusing on improving abdominal strength;we use our abdominals for every movement we make. We also focus on back strength which is crucial to a healthy body. Our Yoga portion is based on Vinyasa Yoga Creating meditation in motion by moving with our breath during each pose increasing balance, strength, flexibility, and peace of mind. Explore the power of connecting the mind, body, and spirit with this class! All levels taught in all classes.
Whether you're a novice exerciser, new to Yoga, a stressed parent, or athlete this beginner 60 minute Yoga class is a great way to learn this ancient form of exercise that focuses on the breath and lengthening and strengthening the whole mind body and spirit, which in turn leaves us calm and strong.
Want to increase your metabolism, tone, and strengthen your bones? This basic strength class includes an all level approach to lifting weights. Using props such as dumbbells, bands, and balls this class will tone and strengthen the entire body including abs, inner and outer thighs. To include Barre, which is ballet movements meets classic calisthenics focusing on thighs, buttocks, and back for serious get a firm fanny pack action.
Hit a plateau? Awaken the mind and body. Enjoy a good full body Low Impact Cardio Vinyasa flow to hip hop music, bare footin it to include a fusion of Yoga and Cardio movements focusing on the buttocks, thighs, abdominal's, and back and a lengthy final relaxation. Get it all in just 45 minutes.
This class offers all the basics of Yoga; a warm up, Vinyasa flow to lengthen and strengthen the mind and body, poses will include Chair, Boat, Tree, Frog, Eagle, Airplane, Monkey, Pigeon etc.., hip hop and classic Yoga music breathing techniques and a good final relaxation to help parent and kid connect, empower, and create the umbeatable calm mind and strong body. Studies prove kids who Yoga have less stress, better self esteem and get better grades.
*NEW * Aerial Yoga
This class is an introduction to Aerial Yoga. Aerial Yoga is a type of Yoga which uses a hammock to allow students to perform postures that they may not ordinarily be able to attempt on the mat. Begin with a warm up on the mat with the hammock, then basic yoga poses, preparing for suspension, which allows for deeper stretching, strengthening and release as certain body parts are being supported by the soft fabric hammock. This method targets specific parts of the body for maximum results. Always a focus on the breath and a good final relaxation. Prerequisite: it is recommended that you have a regular yoga practice and or a daily stretching/flexibility routine before doing Aerial Yoga.

Not only what you eat, but where, when, and how you eat effects weight management. This workshop includes: methods on how to increase your metabolism, a live cooking demonstration, how to incorporate movement into your daily life outside of working out, methods to decrease stress, activities to challenge your whole food knowledge, open discussion, and an optional support group chat on facebook to continue the conversation. No matter where you are in your healthy lifestyle journey this workshop will be extremely beneficial!
